Direct Cremation

Smith Funeral Directors offer non-attended cremations, also known as direct cremations.

Direct cremations are arranged in much the same way as a full-service cremation. We will guide you through the entire process from start to finish and assist you in completing all the necessary paperwork.

Once the arrangements have been finalised, we will schedule a date and time for the cremation and inform you in advance. As with a full-service cremation, we will take into account any important dates or times you would like us to avoid, such as birthdays, anniversaries, or other significant occasions.

Choosing a non-attended cremation does not mean any less care or respect. Every person entrusted to us is treated with the same dignity, compassion, and professionalism that we show to all families and their loved ones.

The cost for a non-attended cremation is £1,195.00, which includes everything required for the cremation.
